Die braune Welsh B Stute ist noch nicht ganz im Reitpferdeleben angekommen und möchte noch mit viel Vorsicht behandelt werden. Oft regt sie sich über Sachen auf oder ängstigt sich, wenn sie etwas noch nicht gut kennt. Sie versucht sich tapfer jeder Aufgabe zu stellen, doch oft verrät ihr lautes Schnauben ihre Aufregung. Doch sie hat Vertrauen zum Menschen und solang man einfach ruhig weiter geht, bleibt Menaina bei einem und lässt sich an jeder Gefahr vorbeiführen. Unterm Sattel sieht das etwas anders aus, da neigt sie in so Momenten dazu umzudrehen und weg zu laufen, es empfiehlt sich in heiklen Situationen abzusteigen und zu führen.
Im Gelände also ein bisschen nervig unterwegs, ist sie in der Halle aber immer sehr konzentriert und lässt sich auch durch andere Pferde nicht ablenken. Kommt es zu Unruhen - ein anderes Pferd geht durch o.ä. - ist mit Menaina Vorsicht geboten, da sie sich schnell verunsichern lässt. Aber sie wird nie kopflos panisch sondern bleibt in Gedanken immer bei ihrem Reiter. Deshalb fühlt sich das Reiten mit Menaina nie nach Kontrollverlust an, selbst wenn es mal nicht ganz so läuft wie geplant.
Mit anderen Pferden in der Herde ist sie sehr vorsichtig, kriegt öfter mal etwas ab und muss deshalb manchmal mit kleinen Schrammen verarztet werden. Am liebsten hat sie es ruhig, mit älteren Pferden versteht sie sich gut und eignet sich auch gut als Krankenbetreuung für verletzte Artgenossen. Menaina ist auch nach 2 Tagen ohne Koppel nicht aufgedreht oder böse, sie freut sich zwar über ihren Koppelgang aber kann im Notfall auch darauf verzichten.
