Zedertraum verkörpert den modernen Trakehner in selten schöner Form: Sein braunfalbenfarbenes Fell mit dunklem Behang, Aalstrich und dezenter Zebrierung an den Beinen hebt ihn aus jedem Starterfeld hervor. Der Hengst wirkt edel, klar im Typ und dabei von ruhiger, innerlich gesammelter Ausstrahlung.
Seine Bewegungen sind von außergewöhnlicher Elastizität und Ausdruckskraft geprägt – besonders im Trab überzeugt er mit natürlicher Kadenz, viel Schulterfreiheit und einem gut arbeitenden Rücken. Im Galopp zeigt er große Bergauftendenz und viel Raumgriff.
Zedertraum stammt aus der Z-Linie der Zaraluna, bekannt für Charakterstärke, Rittigkeit und feine Mechanik. Seine Veranlagung zum Tragen, gepaart mit exzellentem Interieur, macht ihn zu einem beliebten Dressurpferd mit Zuchtwert. Auch als Deckhengst ist er begehrt – nicht zuletzt wegen seiner seltenen Farbe, die er an einen Teil seiner Nachkommen weiterzugeben scheint.
