Gitanilla ist eine neugierige PRE Stute die aber auch ganz genau weiß was sie will. Sie ist an Allem sehr interessiert und und geht offen auf neue Aufgaben zu, allerdings, wenn sie etwas nicht will dann zeigt sie das deutlich, und es ist schwer sie dann zu überreden.
So mag sie kein Wasser und es ist jedes mal eine kleine Diskussion wenn man durch eine Pfütze reiten will. Im Umgang ist sie auch sehr selbstbewußt. Sie braucht einen Menschen der selbstbewußt ist und genau weiß was er will, sonst nimmt die Schimmelstute einen nämlich überhaupt nicht ernst.
Unterm Sattel bietet sich Gitanilla sehr schön an. Sie geht von sich aus sehr schön vorwärts und hat sehr ausdrucksstarke Gänge. Sie weiß es sich besonders im Dressurviereck zu präsentieren und ist beim Dressurtraining sehr bei der Sache und sie lernt schnell.
Springen ist nicht so ihr Ding, sie wird dabei leicht kopflos und sorgt so gerne für Stangensalat. Im Gelände ist sie sehr gerne unterwegs, allerdings ist es manchmal besonders wenn man in großen Gruppen reitet , nicht ganz einfach die Bremse bei ihr zu finden.
