Sandia ist eine eigenwillige Stute. Sie testet ihren Reiter gerne und möchte die Kontrolle an sich reißen. Ihr Reiter muss hier Durchsetzungsvermögen beweisen, ohne grob oder ausfallend zu werden, denn dann kann Sandia schnell mal bockig werden und komplett auf stur schalten. Hat man sie aber mal an der Hand, lässt sich großes mit ihr erreichen. Sie ist sehr ehrgeizig und will immer die Beste sein. Das zeigt sich auch in ihrem tollen Spring- und Geländepotential. Generell wird ihr das Dressurviereck schnell zu langweilig. Sie ist lieber draußen im Gelände im Wald oder in den Bergen. Auf Wettkämpfe geht sie gerne. Sie liebt den Trubel, der dort herrscht und genießt die Aufmerksamkeit, die sie von allen Seiten bekommt. Hier sollte man aber aufpassen, dass sie nicht zu hitzig wird, sondern sich stattdessen auf den Wettkampf konzentriert.
