Skjafa ist eine fröhliche Isländerstute, die sehr zickig sein kann. Sie ist sehr neugierig und aufmerksam und bracht immer Beschäftigung. Sie ist 5- Gänger mit sehr viel Pass und mit noch mehr Temperament. Außerdem springt sie für einen Isländer sehr gerne. Ihr Tölt hat viel Aktion aber es ist noch ausbaufähig. In der Dressur ist sie noch nicht sehr weit und sie hat auch nicht sehr viel Spaß daran. Lieber peest sie im Pass über die Bahn. Wenn man ihr Vertrauen gewonnen hat ist sie sehr leicht im Umgang und macht sehr viel Spaß, allerdings muss man ihr Grenzen setzten und ihr nicht durchgehen lassen, sonst veräppelt sie ihren Besitzer und geht dann ihre eigenen Wege. Kleine Distanzritte absolvierte sie auch erfolgreich, aber auch dies macht ihr nicht allzu viel Spaß.
