Die schlanke Roméa ist eher zurückhaltend und scheu wie ein Reh. Sie braucht lange, um Vertrauen zum Reiter und zu unbekannten Gegenden zu bekommen.
Auf Turnieren ist sie daher eher schwierig, weil sie oft scheut oder panisch wird. Dabei steckt Roméa voller Springpotential. Ihre Abstammung führ zurück nach Finnland und auch von der Vaterseite sind die Großeltern erfolgreich auf Internationaler Ebene. Zu Hause weiß man gleich, was man an Romea hat, denn die Stute lässt keinen Sprung freiwillig aus und hat einen wunderschönen Stil. Wenn da nur nicht ihre Angst wäre, würde sie mit sicherheit alle Siege einstecken aber Romea braucht Zeit und vor allem auch Geduld, denn mit Druck geht bei ihr nichts, außer dass sie vllt in einer Angstsituation noch panischer wird.
So im Umgang ist Romea absolut unproblematisch. Sie lässt sich gut führen, bleibt ruhig stehen beim Putzen und sucht auch mal gerne die Kuschelnähe zum Menschen, wenn sie diesen besser kennt.
Wer also ein Pferd möchte, dass super viel Potential in sich trägt aber einfach einen geduldigen und ruhigen Reiter braucht, hat in Romea den perfekten Begleiter gefunden.
