Akito ist ein ausgesprochen umgänglicher Oldenburgerwallach. Ursprünglich sollte er seinen Weg im großen Sport machen, die Abstammung ließ einiges erhoffen. Doch schnell stellte sich heraus, dass Akito sich auf den großen Turnierplätzen einfach nicht wohl fühlt. Zu viel Hektik und Unruhe bereiten ihm Angst und setzen ihn unter Stress, dann ist er nicht mehr zu händeln. So gelangte Akito in private Hände und wurde weiter ausgebildet und man gönnte ihm viel Abwechslung. Im täglichen Umgang in ruhiger Atmosphäre ist Akito artig und kaum nervös. Auch unter dem Reiter ist der gut gebaute Wallach artig und lässt sich auch von Anfängern leicht reiten. In der Dressur macht er mit guten GGA auch eine super Figur. Akito hat lässt sich aufgrund seines freundlichen Charakters problemlos auch in eine Offenstallherde integrieren.
