Eine sehr vielseitig betont gezogene Trakehnerstute, das ist die von Hawaii stammende Gotenmelodie. Bei ihrer Abstammung, die väterlicherseits den ehemaligen Johannsener Deckhengst El Hashim ox, seines Zeichens ein edles arabisches Vollblut, aufweist, ist das aber auch kein Wunder. Auf der Mutterseite findet sich hingegen durchaus reines Trakehnerblut, welches auch für das Dressurtalent von Melody verantwortlich ist. Die Stute ist eine knallharte Sportskanone, man sollte sie besser jeden Tag bewegen und nicht nur im Stall oder auf der Weide versauern lassen, denn sonst wird sie ganz schön zickig und an Mitarbeit ist dann bei ihr nicht mehr zu denken. Sicher, sie hat auch eine charmante Seite, aber die lässt sie nur raushängen, wenn man sich viel mit ihr beschäftigt und die gangstarke Stute auch dementsprechend fordert. Bei ihrem schmalen Körperbau sieht man ihr die 50% Vollblutanteil deutlich an und groß ist sie auch nicht unbedingt geraten. Melody ist also absolut nichts für Freizeitreiter, sondern sie braucht am besten einen Berufsreiter, der sich auch mit schwierigeren Pferden auskennt. Denn dann hat man ein tolles Pferd unter dem Sattel, welches auch Leistung und Ehrgeiz zeigt.
