Abbreviate has long been one of our better sires of both racehorses and performance horses. We\'ve owned this stallion since 2005, and have many great foals by him. He had a successful career on the track, (14)4-3-5 with earnings of $290,000, he only ran out of the top three twice in his entire career. He also won 3 Graded Stakes races in his career, one Grade I and two Grade III as well as placing in many other graded stakes races. Perhaps his best performance came when he took 3rd place in the prestigious Manhattan Handicap (Grade I) in 2005. As a sire, Abbreviate has been fantastic, especially for producing show jumping foals. We love his foals and most of our show jumping herd has been sired by Abbreviate! He has also has success as a racehorse sire, although less of his foals have started on the track. Currently he has over $2.5 million in progeny earnings within the INJC and only two horses with INJC starts.
