Meist sieht man Bjard nur an Seite seiner Mutter oder mit den anderen Fohlen und Jungpferden zusammen ehrumtoben. Der junge Hengst hat mächtig viel Dampf im Hintern und ist dabei intelligent und gewitzt. Er schafft es immer wieder mal, Übungslektionen aus dem Weg zu gehen. Allerdings hat er auch eine sehr soziale Ader, die man bei ihm im Umgang mit anderen Pferden deutlich entdecken kann.
