Bacara ist trotz ihres noch nicht allzu fortgeschrittenen Alters schon ein ziemlich unerschrockenes Pferd. Kein Wunder, denn diese Charaktereigenschaft zeigte sie schon im Fohlenalter. Da sie unseren Hof nie verlassen hat, hatten wir als Züchter das Glück, sie aufwachsen zu sehen und können daher sagen, dass sie sich kaum verändert hat. Schon immer war Bacara neugierig und aufgeschlossen, auch anderen Tieren gegenüber. Vor allem waren wir auch auf die Bekanntmachung mit dem Sattelzeug und Reitergewicht gespannt, was sie sehr gut meisterte. Dabei war die Kontaktfreudigkeit von der Vollblutstute ein entscheidender Vorteil.
Wie gesagt, macht Bacara eine gute Figur unter dem Sattel. Sie reagiert sehr feinfühlig auf Hilfen und auch auf Turnieren behält sie meistens die Ruhe, zumindest wenn man sich auch als Reiter nicht verrückt macht. Dabei liegt Bacaras Schwerpunkt recht deutlich in der Vielseitigkeit mit leichter Vorliebe fürs Parcoursspringen. Das Rennpotential vom Vater hat sie leider nicht umsetzen können.
