West Virginia ist eine sehr hübsche Deutsche Reitponystute. Sie hat ein wunderschönes Gebäude und hervorragende Gangarten, deshalb ist sie auch eine erstklassige Zuchtstute, die vor allem ihr Springtalent vererbt. Ginny ist unterm Sattel gerne zickig wenn ihr etwas zu langweilig wird, deshalb sollte man ihr Training immer abwechslungsreich gestalten und sich nicht immer auf eine Sache beziehen. Im Umgangs ist die Stute sehr freundlich und immer hellwach. Ihr Sozialverhalten ist gut, denn sie wuchs im Herdenverband auf. Im Gelände ist West Verginia durch den Militarylehrgang viel sicherer geworden, ist aber immer an allem interessiert und recht neugierig. Sie ist recht flott und hat auch nichts gegen einen kleinen Jagdgalopp im Gelände, auch Wasser mag sie total gerne.
