Lunar Eclipse Dw, ihr Vater ist niemand anderes als der weltweit bekannte Oldenburgerhengst Lissabon. Inzwischen ist er zwar verstorben, aber seine Gene finden sich in unserer Scheckstute Lunar Eclipse wieder, von der wir hoffen, dass sie sich in den nächsten Jahren zu einem ebenso erfolgreichen Turnierpferd entwickeln wird. Die Scheckjacke bekam sie jedoch von ihrer Mutter Noelani, die eine Fuchsscheckjacke trägt. Luna wurde jedoch als Braunscheckin geboren, da spielten uns die Gene wohl einen kleinen Streich. Jedenfalls zeigt die Scheckstute schon gute Springanlagen unter dem Reiter und mit viel Übung und Geduld schafft sie schon einen kleinen Parcours mit niedrigen Kreuzen. Luna nimmt Wendungen mit viel Geschick, als würde sie nie etwas anderes tun und man kann sie auf dem Fleck wenden, so gelenkig ist die amerikanische Stute. Ihren Charakter kann man als aufgeweckt, aber immer umgänglich und wenig frech beschreiben, sie ist also ein richtiges Traumpferd geworden.
