Bonavoia ist eine freundliche Stute, mit einem sehr ehrlichen Charakter. Sie bewegt sich sehr gerne, trifft jedoch fast immer das richtige Maß zwischen fleißig sein und nerven. Die hübsche Schimmelstute ist sehr angenehm zu reiten, bequem zu sitzen und reagiert gut auf jede Art von Hilfen. Dennoch möchte Voia gefordert sein und immer wieder neue Aufgaben bekommen. Ein Reiter, der mit der Weißen einfach seine Runden dreht, hätte wohl eher keinen Gefallen an ihr. Auf der Koppel verhält sich die Lipizzanerstute sehr sozial und zickt eher selten rum. Andere Pferde akzeptiert sie in ihrer Nähe, drängt sich jedoch nicht auf.
Als Turnierpferd ist die Schimmelstute bestens geeignet, da sie sehr zuverlässig ist und selten eine Prüfung wegen Nervosität verhaut. Auch in der Zucht erwies sich Bonavoia bereits als gute Mutter, die ihr Potential zuverlässig weiter vererbt und bereits einem tollen Fohlen das Leben schenkte.
