Askarina ist sehr neugierig. Vor ihrer Nase ist einfach nichts sicher und alles muss einmal angeknabbert werden. Kaum verwunderlich also, dass die hübsche Haflingerstute sehr kontaktfreudig ist und auch gerne schmust. Nur wenn sie wieder auf Entdeckungsreisen ist, will sie wirklich nicht kuscheln!
Weiß man ihre Neugierde jedoch auszunutzen und alles interessant und aufregend zu gestalten, lernt Askarina schnell und gut. Sie gibt sich manchmal sogar Mühe nicht abgelenkt zu werden, aber das geschieht nur selten. Dennoch sollte Askarina niemals als lernunwillig, faul oder dumm bezeichnet werden, denn die junge Stute liebt es, Neues dazu zu lernen und arbeitet dann brav und eifrig mit - natürlich, denn immer, wenn man etwas Neues lernt, entdeckt man ja auch neue Dinge. So muss man also lediglich lernen den Entdeckungswillen der Stute zu zügeln, beziehungsweise ihn in die richtige Richtung zu lenken. Dann hat man mit Askarina ein absolut liebes Reitpferd gewonnen, das auch weit über die Zeit unter dem Sattel hinaus treu ist und einen erfreuen kann.
