Shiku ist im Vergleich zu ihren Eltern ein außerordentlich ruhiger Charakter. Natürlich zeigt sie ab und an auch mal Feuer und will ihren Kopf durchsetzen, aber das kommt eher selten vor und gehört nicht zu ihren normalen Reaktionen. Eine anfängliche Unsicherheit konnte Shiku bald ablegen und die Westernausbildung, die sie mittlerweile genossen hat, hat ihr das nötige Selbstvertrauen gegeben, sodass sie nun auch die schwierigsten Situationen mit aller Ruhe meistert. Somit ist sie nicht nur im Gelände ein richtiges Verlasspferd geworden, sondern wird ihr Talent auch bald auf Turnieren vorstellen können. Desweiteren ist Shiku sehr lernfreudig und allem neuen aufgeschlossen, sodass das erlernen neuer Lektionen mit ihr kaum ein Problem darstellt. Sie eignet sich sehr gut als Westernpferd, da sie eher einen kleinen, kräftigen Körper hat
