Foggy Dawn - nebelige Morgendämmerung - der Name lässt ja schon erahnen, dass da eine Geschichte dahinter steht. Die junge Stute wuchs in England in einer der halbwilden Herden auf, und hätte eigentlich ruhig dort bleiben sollen, wären nicht Baupläne dazwischen gekommen. Lange hatte Foggy sich geweigert und selbst als fast alle anderen Tiere in menschliche Obhut geraten oder in andere Gebiete umgezogen waren, schlug sie sich noch teils alleine durch das Moor. An einem besonders nebeligen Morgen, an dem der Bodennebel fast höher war als die Stute selbst, wurde sie gefunden und mittels Betäubung gefangen. Da inzwischen keine anderen Pferde mehr auf dem Hof lebten, sollte sie schnellstmöglichst weitervermittelt werden und kam so nach Österreich, wo sie in der Herde der Baronhill Exmoorponys weiterhin auf großen Flächen fast frei leben konnte und erst langsam gezähmt werden sollte.
Da der Besitzer wenig später verstarb, kam sie schließlich zu uns. Sie war noch nicht lange bei den Baronshill Ponys, weshalb wir kaum Charakterinformationen zu ihr haben, klar ist dass sie Stute wohl sehr zäh ist und nicht schnell aufgibt. Außerdem wird sie mit ihren sieben Jahren nicht einfach auszubilden sein; auch wenn sie den Menschen gegenüber freundlich gesinnt ist und sich auch mal kurz streicheln oder anfassen lässt.
