Die Westfalen Stute Hohensteins Abbey ist sehr lieb im Umgang und mach überhaupt keine Probleme. Unterm Sattel braucht sie aber jemanden der sie fördert und immer wieder auffordert etwas Neues zu machen. Wenn Abbey erstmal so einen Reiter gefunden hat, wird sie schnell sehr anhänglich und kann sich nur schwer trennen. Man sollte sich es mit Abbey also gut überlegen, damit Abbey sich nicht doch irgendwann von ihrem Besitzer trennen muss. Auch im weiteren Umgang ist die Stute sehr offen für alles und sehr aufgeschloßen. Es gibt niemals mit ihr Probleme. Die Westfalenstute läuft mit den Jüngeren der Herde auf der Weide immer wieder mit und es zeigt sich, dass sie ganz schön noch in Form ist!
