So unter uns: Colonel ist mein absoluter Liebling. Warum? Weil er eine Memme ist. Ein Waschlappen. Ein echter Spinner. Man weiß nie, was heute wieder falsch läuft, aber der Schimmel findet immer irgendwas, worüber er sich aufregen muss. Das macht die Arbeit mit ihm doch wesentlich spannender, oder? Nun gut … es ist lästig, machmal. Besonders wenn man keine Zeit hat, ihn davon zu überzeugen, dass der Stein gestern schon da war und das Wasser auf dem Platz nicht bis in sein Innerstes vordringt. Aber davon abgesehen ist er einfach Gold wert und hat einen absolut liebenswürdigen, sehr menschenbezogenen Charakter. Einzig mit anderen Hengsten muss man etwas aufpassen, da zeigt er sich dann doch wieder ein bisschen wie die Dramaqueen, die in ihm steckt.
