Für die Kleemannsche Reitponyzucht war kaum eine Hengstmutter so prägend wie Baronesse. Nachdem sie selbst bei uns immer im Reiteinsatz war, hat sie nur 3 Zuchtjahre erlebt, doch 2 davon wurden echte Überflieger: Mit Marbon und Rayonner stellt sie Stempelhengste unserer Zucht. Dabei war Baronesse eine Mutter, die sich charakterlich eher unauffällig vererbt. Jedem ihrer Söhne ist der Papa immer sehr stark anzumerken. Was Baronesse hingegen vererbt ist viel Ehrlichkeit, einen gesunden Körperbau und absolute Leistungsbereitschaft.


Baronesse selbst war uns immer eines unserer liebsten Schulponies. Sie ist eine Lebensversichrung im Gelände, von Dressur bis Springen immer motiviert und interessiert und frei von jeglichen Unarten. Am Putzplatz hat man sie immer gut fest zu binden, da sie eine kleine Entfesslungskünstlerin ist und sich schon mal los knotet, wenn das saftige Gras oder ein leuchtender roter Apfel verführerisch lockt. Sonst ist sie wirklich ganz lieb.
