Wena hat ein Nervenkostüm aus Stahl. Es gibt nichts, was die Stute wirklich aus der Ruhe bringt und auch Schrecksituationen meistert sie gelassen. Es gab schon Leute, die sie uín jungen Jahren fürs Stuntreiten vorschlagen wollten, es ist dann doch was eher "normales" geworden. Im Umgang ist sie ein Lamm, tiefenentspannt und immer glücklich über Zuwendung.
Unterm Sattel hat sie zwei Seiten: Bei Anfängern ist sie ein Lämmchen, sie trägt jeden vorsichtig durch die Gegend und läuft artig. Bei Profis ist nichts zu holen, da steht sie fein an den Hilfen und lässt sich sauber reiten. Bei allem dazwischen testet sie schon mal gerne an, wie weit sie auf dem Platz Ecken abkürzen oder das Tempo vorgeben kann. Oft muss man sich erst einmal durchsetzen, damit sie dann für das Training erst einmal wieder artig läuft.
Sowohl im Viereck als auch im Stangenwald oder im Busch arbeitet sie gerne und motiviert, wenn sie dann einmal drin ist.
