Silberstreif hatte von Anfang an eine klare Vorstellung vom Laufen. Unbeirrbar lief er seine Bestzeiten auf einer Strecke von 9f, also ca. 1700m. Besonders auf der Summerland-Rennbahn fühlte er sich wohl. Als erster Nachkomme von Solar sticht er besonders hervor. Seine jüngere Halbschwester schlug sich nicht annähernd so gut wie er, obwohl auch sie Tendezen zu längeren Strecken zeigte.
Inzwischen hat Silberstreif gezeigt wie viel ihm Regelmäßigkeit bedeutet. Von der anfänglichen Lieblingsstrecke auf Summerland hat er sich längentechnisch nicht verändert. Wohl aber die Örtlichkeit. Seine neuste Strecke ist auf der Mayandor 9ft-Bahn. Dort holte er sich zunächst seinen GII-Sieg und danach auch noch den GI-Sieg. Es ist schön ihn als einen verlässlichen Läufer aus der Startbox kommen zu sehen.
