Sabina ist eine lebenslustige kleine Stute die sich vor allem sehr sozial zeigt. Ob freilaufend in der Herde oder auf dem Reitplatz, Sabina zeigt ein sehr gutes Verhalten gegenüber anderen Pferden - bestimmt und selbstbewusst, aber nie aufdringlich oder bösartig. Auch bei Großpferden setzt die zierliche Stute sich durch und wirkt auf einmal ganz groß, wenn verblüffte Warmblüter ihr Platz machen und sie mit erhobenem Haupt vorbei marschiert.
Ähnlich ist es mit Menschen. Sie ist ein wahres Talent der Körpersprache, immer aufmerksam und auf jedes noch so kleine Detail fixiert. Man kann sie mit einer Handbewegung dirigieren und Bodenarbeit mit Sabina sieht für Ausenstehende wie Zauberei aus. Jedoch erwartet sie diese Exaktheit dann auch wirklich immer, heute so und morgen so - das klappt mit Sabina nicht. Dafür ist sie zu selbstbewusst, wer sie einmal mit dem Huf scharen lässt wird Wochen brauchen, um es ihr wieder abzugewöhnen. Doch solche Dummheiten erlebt man bei ihr auch selten und wenn alle Eventualitäten einmal geklärt sind, ist Sabina das wohlerzogenste Pferd aller Zeiten.
Unterm Sattel gibt sie sich ebenso aufmerksam und hört auf die feinsten Hilfen. Ihr hübscher Kopf und ihre zierliche Statur machen sie zum Kinderliebling, doch für Reitanfänger ist sie nicht geeignet. Jede unbedachte Bewegung wird von Sabina als Befehl verstanden und ruft irgendeine Reaktion hervor. Wer da keinen sauberen Sitz und ruhige Zügelführung hat, ist mit Sabina schnell überfordert. Doch mit dem richtigen Reiter zeigt Sabina Eleganz und Laufwille, sie hat ordentliche Gangarten und ist sich für nichts zu schade.
