Lilly ist eine richtige Kämpferin. Sie will immer auf die andere Seite des Sprungs, manchmal schneller als mir lieb ist, so muss ich ihr immer wieder sagen, dass nicht gerannt wird und wir die Galoppsprünge einhalten, die geritten werden sollen. Dabei darf ich aber nicht zu hart durchgreifen, denn sonst steht sie auch gerne auf zwei Beinen, wenn es sein muss mitten im Parcours. Dennoch macht es täglich spaß mit ihr zu arbeiten. Wenn sie locker ist, funktioniert auch die Dressurarbeit sehr gut. Im Umgang kann sie manchmal etwas zickig sein, besonders wenn sie einen schlechten Tag hat, da möchte sie weder andere Tiere noch Menschen in ihrer Nähe haben.
