Pechschwarzes Fell, ein traumhaftes Gangwerk - das ist Nikolaas. Der wunderschöne Friesenhengst ist ein Herz und eine Seele im Umgang. Er ist gut zu händeln und auch für Hengstunerfahrene ein guter Anfang. Manchmal wiehert und tänzelt er ganz leicht wenn er eine rossige Stute bemerkt, aber das wars auch schon. Man sollte ihn direkt neben einer Stute anbinden, das wäre ja auch gemein. Beim Reiten sind ihm die Stuten vollkommen egal, dort geht es einzig und allein um die Arbeit. Nikolaas besitzt hervorragende und gut sitzende Gangarten und hat ein hohes Potenzial in der Dressur. Er ist garantiert ein Pferd, was ins Viereck gehört.
Im Parcours zeigt der Hengst nicht so viel Freude, er hat keinen hohen Absprung und Spaß macht es ihm auch nicht wirklich. Mal ein kleines E-Springen zu gehen oder Stangenarbeit mit Cavalettis und Kreuzen mit ihm zu machen sind keinesfalls ein Problem, das bietet ihm nur Abwechslung vom Training. Der einzige Haken bei Nikolaas liegt im Gelände. Dort ist er noch sehr spritzig und kernig, möchte am liebsten nur rasen und er heitzt sich sehr schnell auf. Wir denken, dass man es ihm mit viel Ruhe und Geduld abgewöhnen kann, sodass er auch ruhiger wird. Dafür wird der Hengst aber garantiert Zeit benötigen, er ist ja auch noch jung und unerfahren. Im Großen und Ganzen ist Nikolaas ein tolles Pferd mit einem Spitzenpotenzial in der Dressur und sein Geländeproblem kann man auch in den Griff bekommen. Man kann den Friesenhengst nur lieb haben und er ist ein toller Arbeitsfreund, der gefordert und gefördert werden will.
