Gold Mercy wirkt auf den ersten Blick sehr offenherzig und wohlerzogen. Er lässt sich von jedem gut händeln und genießt jede Zuwendung. Jedoch kann er auch schon sehr penetrant werden, wenn es um die Aufmerksamkeit geht und drängt sich gerne in den Mittelpunkt. Beim Training und bei den Turnieren ist er sehr erfolgsorgientiert, zeigt sich konzentriert und arbeitet stets gut mit. Im Umgang mit anderen Pferden ist er jedoch sehr impulsiv und wirkt daher oft auch unberechenbar, tatsächlich ist er aber eher feige und lässt sich schnell vertreiben, wenn ein Pferd sich nicht von ihm einschüchtern lässt. Unser Goldi ist insgesamt ein sehr aufgewecktes Pony, das durch seine liebe Art einfach jeden überzeugt.
