Schnuppernase Dawn mischte die Stutengruppen schon bei ihrem ersten Weideausflug ziemlich auf. Sie genießt es, Mittelpunkt der Aufmerksamkeit zu sein. Vor den anderen, jüngeren Fohlen gibt sie sich gerne mal als die Älteste und Mutigste, aber wenn sie an die Arbeit muss löst sich das in Rauch auf. Zwar ist sie nicht ängstlich aber gerne mal ein bisschen zögerlich, man braucht eine Weile, bis mal sie "geknackt" hat.
