Epic kann eine total gelassene und entspannte Stute sein, man vermutet dann nicht, dass sie noch recht jung ist. Im Umgang ist sie meist unproblematisch, aber sie hat so ihre Ticken, dann wird sie nervös, kann nicht stillstehen und ist unberechenbar. Plötzlich sieht sie überall Gespenster und spinnt eine Weile herum. Das ganze ist kein Zeichen von Nervosität oder Angst, sondern schlicht und einfach ein Austesten des Menschen neben ihr. Gibt man ihr klare Regeln, ist sie wieder das liebste Pferd von allen.
Genau das gleich schafft sie auch unterm Sattel. Weiß man, wie man in solchen Situationen die Kontrolle behält, hört es schnell auf. Am besten kann man diese Strategien mit ihr vom Boden aus erarbeiten, denn sie kann sehr aufmerksam und gelehrig sein, wenn man sie gepackt bekommt. Sie lernt schnell und ist motiviert, allerdings müssen dafür die Fronten deutlich geklärt sein.
Epic ist unterm Sattel mit guter Konzentration unterwegs. Sie hat bislang keinerlei Turniererfahrungen, macht aber den Eindruck, als ob sie die bald mal anfangen sollte zu sammeln. Ihre Veranlagungen sind noch nicht klar erkennbar, aber sie ist motiviert bei der Arbeit und lernt fleißig neue Dinge.
