Jaysá oder auch Jay hat ihren eigenen Kopf und ist dabei auch noch furchtbar neugierig. Sie steckt ihre Nase in alles rein und zieht, wenn nötig, die Personen, die sie führen, auch mal ein Stück mit. Es dauert lange, ihren Respekt zu erlangen, denn sie hinterfragt alles und jeden. Man muss ihr immer deutlich zeigen, was sie darf und was nicht erwünscht ist, erst dann wird sie umgänglich und auch relativ unproblematisch. Sie hat eine deutliche Schwäche für Leckereien aller Art, allerdings sollte man auf der Basis nicht anfangen zu arbeiten, da sie schnell zu betteln anfängt.\r\n\r\nHat man sie unter Kontrolle, ist Jaysá interessiert und vertraut dem Reiter. Sie geht fein in der Dressur und lässt sich sicher im Gelände und auf dem Springplatz lenken. Sie setzt gerne auf Risiko und versucht es dem Reiter dann recht zu machen und sowohl zeitlich passend als auch fehlerfrei durchs ziel zu gelangen. Hat man miot ihr noch nicht die gemeinsame Ebene gefunden, tut sie gerne was sie will und nutzt jede Unsicherheit des Reiters aus, mal an einem Hindernis vorbeizulaufen oder zu verweigern. Trotz des Dickschädels würde Jaysá nie einen Reiter in den Sand setzen oder kopflos im Gelände losrennen.
