Miamis Air of Lérom ist ein hengstiger Bengel, der allzu gerne mal Unsinn anstellt. Schafft man es allerdings sich mit ihm anzufreunden, wird er ein sehr lieber Kerl. Befindet sich jedoch eine Stute in der Nähe, so ist der Dunkelbraune immer recht hibbelig.
Im Stall spielt sich Leróm gerne mal auf. Wenn er es allerdings gerade nicht für nötig hält rumzuspinnen, ist er eher unauffällig und ruhig.
Bringt man den Trakehnerhengst auf die Weide, so ist er kaum zu halten, bockt und rennt bei der ersten Gelegenheit los. Bis man ihn wieder einfangen kann, können schonmal ein oder zwei Stunden vergehen.
Unter dem Sattel hört Miamis Air of Leróm grundsätzlich gut auf die Hilfen, die ihm gegeben werden. Hat er jedoch keine Lust mehr, beißt er zum Beispiel auf das Gebiss und nimmt dem Reiter so jede Chance mit den Zügeln auf ihn einzuwirken. Die anderen Hilfen vermag er in solchen Fällen ebenfalls gekonnt zu ignorieren. Um selbst hier mit ihm klar zu kommen bedarf es also etwas mehr als nur ein annehmbares reiterliches Können. Die Fähigkeit sich durchzusetzen ist hier eben so wichtig wie die Sensibilität, die Situation richtig einzuschätzen und dementsprechend zu handeln.
Dennoch - Air of Leróm lässt sich durchaus als ein vielversprechendes Turnierpferd bezeichnen, wovon seine vielen Siege und Platzierungen zeugen.
