Quanera ist eine sensible, aber sehr charakterstarke Stute. Sie spürt sofort, wenn etwas anders ist als sonst. Beim Menschen, wie auch bei einem anderen Pferd. Sie ist sehr empathisch und versucht dann meist mit Nettigkeit den Menschen oder das Tier auf andere Gedanken zu bringen. Quanera weiß aber auch genau, wenn sie etwas gar nicht möchte. Sie hasst Pfützen, liebt aber den Strand und großes Wasser.
Durch ihre sehr guten Grundgangarten ist sie ein Pferd für da gehobene Viereck. Präzises Reiten ist bei ihr aber an der Tagesordnung, da sie nur dann erhaben agiert und somit gute Punkte bei den Turnierrichtern einholen kann. Im Springparcours oder im Gelände ist Quanera auch gerne unterwegs, aber auch dort muss man ihr präzise zeigen, welches Hindernis sie nehmen soll. Nachlässigkeiten sind bei ihr nicht drin, denn da kommt ihre sensible Art wieder zum Vorschein.
