Leprechaun ist der Namensgeber des Guts. Dank ihm stieß Merle erst auf den Hof, da er mal wieder ausgerissen war.
Seinem Talent als Ausreißer hat ihm den Spitznamen Kobold zu verdanken. Kobold testet immer die Umzäunung seines Auslaufes gerne aus und taucht an den unterschiedlichen Orten des Hofes auf. Der Shettyhengst liebt es besonders in dem Garten bei den Rosen zu stehen oder den Warmblutstuten einen Besuch ab zu statten.
Beim Umgang ist der Hengst meist brav, aber er liebt es mit kleinen Streichen seinen Pfleger zu ärgern. Wenn es auch nur der Versuch des Losreißens oder das Anknabbern des Oberteils des Betreuers. Dazu liebt er seinen Schlaf und findet es einfach unverschämt, wenn man ihn weckt.
