Draggi ist eine kompakte, hellfalbene Fjordstute mit wachen, freundlichen Augen und einem immer leicht zerzausten Stirnschopf. Sie ist eine der Pferde, die man einfach gernhat, weil sie von sich aus Nähe sucht, ohne je aufdringlich zu sein. Beim Putzen steht sie entspannt und döst gerne – außer man kommt mit einer Mähnebürste, dann wird sie plötzlich sehr aufmerksam, weil sie das Striegeln ihres dicken Mähnenkamms liebt.
Unter dem Sattel und im Geschirr zeigt Draggi sich unerschrocken, zuverlässig und mit einem kleinen Schuss Sturheit. Sie geht brav voran, bleibt aber bei neuen Hindernissen erst einmal stehen, mustert alles in Ruhe und entscheidet dann. Diese Mischung aus Vorsicht und Nervenstärke hat sie zu einem großartigen Geländepferd gemacht. Sie liebt Wasser, plantscht mit den Vorderbeinen und steckt gern die Nase in Bäche oder Tränken.
Menschen gegenüber ist sie sanftmütig, aber auch eigenständig. Wenn man sie kennt, merkt man schnell, dass sie eine feine Balance zwischen Bindung und Selbstbestimmung lebt. Besonders im Umgang mit jungen Pferden zeigt sie viel Nachsicht und Ruhe. Genau diese Art hat sie auch als Mutter weitergegeben – Draber profitiert spürbar von ihrem geerdeten, klugen Wesen.
