Every so often, a homebred comes along who makes an incredible difference in the stable at which he was born in. Celan is that horse at Mystic Visions. Sired by Peintre Celebre - the Irish racehorse who never finished lower than third - and out of a Seattle Slew daughter, Celan comes from a line of winning racehorses. Celan is built perfect for a Thoroughbred regardless of discipline, which explains his approval into different Warmblood registries. Peintre Celan was an Eclipse Award winner in 2000, was the Breeders' Cup Sprint Winner in 2000, and was the 2001 WH Jockey Club October Horse of the Month. After his incredible racing career, Celan retired into a life of dressage. He had incredible promise very early and at sixteen years old, he is now competing in Grand Prix dressage. The same musculature that carried him to racing victories allows him extension and collection that is not often seen in Thoroughbreds in dressage and we are proud to say that he is one of the most successful Thoroughbred dressage horses in Horses Forever history.
As a sire, Peintre Celan has already made his mark with almost every single one of his Thoroughbred offspring being money earners on the track. MYS Peintre Celeste has earned over a million dollars and has PLACE finishes in two different Breeders' Cup Races. Celan has also sired Appendix QH winners on the track, including MYS Hollywood C and Go - the 2010 Pioneer Derby WINNER. Celan's first Oldenburg foal hit the ground in 2010 and MF Phyriia has been sensational in the sporthorse ring with all the other Warmbloods. At the 2012 Oldenburg inspections, she marked an incredible 82% for her trotting movement.
