Red Corvette Sw is the exciting son of a wonderful sim stallion, Blood Red Cadillac, owned by Sportpferde Winter. He is also our first homebred from Sportpferde Winter! Blood Red Cadillac is a flashy and strong stallion who competes in Grand Prix Showjumping. He holds multiple titles including ASJA State Champion and ASIHS Hall of Fame. He has over ten offspring in competing in All Sim and abroad in showjumping. Red Corvette Sw's dam, DL Ciarány is a showjumper and dressage competitor holding the Hall of Legends title with the ASIHS, District Champion with the ASJA, and Local Champion with the ASWA. Her sire is a retired eventing competitor and her dam is a retired grand prix showjumping competitor. Showjumping is definitely in Red Corvette Sw's veins and we can see that this talent as passed to him. Additionally, DL Ciarány's is a lovely sorrel pinto, unusual for Irish Sport Horses, so the interesting color combination of sorrel pinto and chestnut sabino is likely to create colorful offspring as well. Red Corvette Sw is not only named in honor of his sire, but inherited a bit of his personality as well. While good natured, he thrives under a firm hand and a regular partner in the saddle. He's a bit complicated around other horses, and while not aggressive, he wants other horses to know he's on top. This worked fine while he was with the other young horses his size, but turn out with the older stallion humbled him quite a bit. He may not be at the top of the herd, but he certainly aspires to be. He's quite cheeky in the barn and around strangers, but with his regular rider he really shines, and his talent in the show ring is sure to become apparent when he starts in competition. We hope to see him move up in the showjumping world, and know that he's capable of the top levels.
