Santana ist eine sehr sensible, junge Stute, die noch viel lernen muss. Im Umgang ist sie zwar lieb und hat sie eine Bezugsperson ist sie absolut treu, doch ist sie noch manchmal etwas nervös und lässt sich leicht aus der Ruhe bringen. Das hat sich durch den Anti-Schreck-Lehrgang zwar weitgehend verbessert, doch ein 100%iges Verlasspferd ist sie dadurch noch nicht. Sie braucht einen sehr einfühlsamen und geduldigen Reiter, der ihr Vertrauen schenkt und sie mit Umsicht behandelt. In Mareike hat sie so einen gefunden und ist auch sehr treu und artig, doch stellt manchmal in Frage, wer der Chef ist. Werden ihr klar ihre Grenzen aufgezeigt, akzeptiert sie das meistens aber schnell und fügt sich willig. Unter dem Sattel ist die Stute ebenfalls etwas kribbelig, doch sehr weich im Maul und mit angenehmen Gängen ausgestattet. Sie wurde gefühlvoll ausgebildet, doch auf Turnieren war sie bisher oft zu aufgeregt, um gute Platzierungen zu erreichen. Mit Mareike konnte sie allerdings schon in allen drei Disziplinen einige Platzierungen und Siege erringen
