Don Frederico ist ein Pferd mit sehr viel Ausstrahlung und Raumgriff, allerdings fällt es ihm nicht immer leicht dies auch unter dem Reiter zu zeigen. Er hat oft die Tendenz hinter den Zügel zu kommen und man sollte ihn vor allem vorwärts reiten und so wenig wie möglich im Maul anpacken. Das mag er gar nicht. Ansonsten ist eher eher der umgänglicheren Sorte. Nur Anhängerfahren mag er nicht so. Da sind ihm grosse Transporter schon etwas lieber.
