More information
Firm But Friendly has never set foot on the track, but her bloodlines make her an ideal racehorse broodmare. Her sire is Harsh Facts, a USA bred stallion by Leading Juvenile Sire of 1977, In Reality. As well as being a fine racehorse, winning races such as the Preakness and Fountain of Youth Stakes as a three year old, this stallion is also the sire of Eclipse Champion Sprinter, Smile, and other successful racehorses such as Relaunch and Proper Reality. In Reality is also one of the few male descendants of Man O' War. Harsh Facts is out of Head Spy, a mare who won 9 of her 26 starts, and is out of Chieftan, who won 13 of his 36 starts, and who is half brother to Tom Rolfe. Firm But Friendly is out of Rocky's Delight, a mare by Council Rock, a Secretariat son. Her dam is by Craig D, who won the Juvenile Championship H as a two year old, and the Premier's British Columbia Championship as a three year old. Purchased from Odeon of Saraid Gypsy Cobs (SAI), under contract. Created by Odeon.
