Fair Lady hat manchmal ein bisschen viel Geltungsdrang, aber man kann es ihr eher selten übel nehmen, denn sie ist dabei nicht stürmisch oder Aufdringlich, für sie ist das Leben ein großes Schaulaufen. Im Umgang ist sie nicht menschenscheu und macht sich nicht viel aus wechselnden Reitern, solange sie Beachtung findet. Am Putzplatz führt das manchmal zu viel Gewieher und wenn Hengste der Wallache zugegen sind, macht sie gerne einen auf Stute.
Unterm Sattel hat sie einen gesunden Vorwärtsdrang, was Reiter mal überraschen kann. Was sie arbeitet ist dann recht egal, denn Fia will am liebsten einfach lange beschäftigt werden und lässt sich für alles begeistern. Ob es dann rasant über Hindernisse geht oder ein bisschen Zurückhaltung braucht, da es beim Ausritt mal uneben ist, ist nicht weiter wichtig. Auch scheu ist sie seltener.
