Die junge Riva die Zweite oder Rivinchen, wie wir sie dann doch lieber nennen, ist ein wirklich sehr süßes und unkompliziertes Jungpferd. Sie ist freundlich, kommt von sich aus auch auf fremde Menschen zu und zeigt richtiggehend Interesse daran, zu verstehen, was der Mensch ihr sagen will oder von ihr verlangt. Widerspruch ist von ihr eigentlich kaum zu erwarten, wenn es mal nicht klappt, hat sie wohl einfach nicht verstanden, was gefragt war. Ansonsten zeigt sie sich bemüht, manchmal noch recht verspielt, wobei sie sich bei Bedarf auch gut in die Schranken weisen lässt. Rivinchen ist ein eifriges und lebenslustiges Pferd, das generell offen auf Neues zugeht und meist sehr ausgeglichen ist. Je nach Tagesverfassung kann sie aber auch mal richtig naiv wirken oder im Gegenteil eher vorsichtig sein, ab und zu erschrickt sie auch, vorwiegend, wenn sie vorher auf etwas anderes konzentriert war und die "Gefahr" nicht kommen gesehen hatte - da macht sie schon mal einen erschrockenen Sprung zur Seite und äugelt misstrauisch. Mit einem Menschen an der Seite lässt sie sich aber schnell überzeugen, dass es ganz okay ist, daran vorbei zu gehen und man wohl keinen Angriff erwarten muss.
