Sanne vom Maihof ist die Tochter des bekannten Hengstes Galimor, der sich schon auf vielen Turnieren erfolgreich bewiesen hat. Von ihm hat die Stute auch das Dressurpotenzial in den höheren Klassen geerbt. Schon jetzt bestätigt sich, dass Sanne ein hervorragendes Dressurpferd ist und in dieser Kategorie noch sehr viel erreichen kann. Man braucht nur ihre wunderschönen Gangarten zu beachten und schon weiß man, wovon hier beschrieben wird. Aber auch Sannes Mutter ist am Gangvermögen dieser Stute nicht ganz unschuldig. Jedoch vererbte sie auch ihr hübsches äußeres Erscheinungsbild und ihren Lernwillen. Sanne lernt absolut schnell. Hierbei kommt ihr eine gewisse Neugierde auch zu Gute, wodurch sich vor fast nichts Scheu zeigt und alles ausprobieren möchte. Dieses große Interesse an allem ist allerdings auch manchmal hinderlich. So lässt sich die Stute leicht ablenken, da sie gerne ihre Umgebung beobachtet und wissen möchte, was rund um sie alles passiert. Im Umgang ist Sanne im Großen und Ganzen äußerst lieb und geht sowohl mit Menschen als auch mit Artgenossen sehr offen um und zeigt keine Schüchternheit oder Zurückhaltung. Bedingt durch ihre sehr willensstarke Mutter hat auch diese Stute ihren eigenen Kopf, den sich auch gerne mal durchsetzen möchte. Dann kann es schon mal zu kleineren Streitigkeiten zwischen Mensch und Pferd geben.
