An Quitty fällt als erstes ihre Gelassenheit auf, sie ist im Umgang, in vielen Situationen und bei vielen Gegenständen nervenstark und vermittelt auch anderen Pferden oft Sicherheit. Das war allerdings nicht immer so, denn als Jungpferd hatte man mit ihrem Ehrgeiz und ihrem Temeperament durchaus zu kämpfen und vorallem beim Springen musste man gut aufpassen, nicht die Kontrolle zu verlieren. Sowas scheint einem jetzt eher unverstellbar, wenn man sie am Putzplatz dösen oder in der Halle zwar aufmerksam, aber ohne überschäumende Motivation ihre Runden drehen sieht. Aber, aber - so alt ist sie nun auch nicht, wer es herausfordert und mit etwas Ehrgeiz an einen Parcours heran geht, der erlebt oftmals noch sein blaues Wunder, denn an das Tempo, ihre Kraft und den starken Siegeswillen, der meist der Besinnung weicht, muss der Reiter sich erstmal gewöhnen. Dank ihrer guten Erziehung und Erfahrung bleibt sie dabei aber auch kontrollierbar, solange der Zweibeiner eben noch auf sie einwirkt und nicht lieber die Augen schließt und sie machen lässt - was auch eine Möglichkeit ist, denn Distanzen abzuschätzen und Wendungen knapp, aber sicher zu bemessen, das kann Quitty ja. Auch Galopp im Gelände ist etwas, was man nur als geübter Reiter und mit einem guten Nervensystem (dafür ohne Autos oder Züge rundum) wagen sollte. Denn hier geht die Selle Francais-Stute extrem ab. Sie kann ein unheimlich Tempo erreichen und ist dann nur schwer wieder einzufangen und zu bremsen. Alles in allem ist sie aber ein tolles Pferd, ob als Fohlenmama oder als Freizeitpartner, wo sie nur ab und zu beim Freispringen (welches sie seit ihrer Jugend sehr gerne macht) ihre Sprungmanier unter Beweis stellen darf.
