Life in London ist ein Pony mit Power. Schon wenn man die Ponystute auf der Weide herumflitzen sieht kann man sich leicht ausrechnen, dass man sie nicht erst groß motivieren muss, damit sie sich bewegt. Tatsächlich ist Londons Bewegungsdrang sehr ausgeprägt und das zeigt sich meistens schon, wenn es ans Putzen und Satteln geht. Stillstehen scheint nämlich ein wahres Fremdwort für die Stute zu sein und je schneller die ganze Prozedur vorbei ist, desto besser. Beim Aufwärmen heißt es dann erst einmal darauf achten, dass die Ponystute es auch wirklich langsam angehen lässt und nicht gleich Vollgas gibt. Unnötig zu betonen, dass man ihr keine blutigen Anfänger auf den Rücken setzen sollte. Life in London ist zwar im Allgemeinen nicht schwer zu bremsen, da sie sehr feinfühlig ist und sich nicht gegen die Hilfen stellt, aber alleine das Tempo das sie manchmal an den Tag legt, kann ungeübte Reiter schon mal erschrecken. Für Menschen, die kein Problem damit haben wenn es etwas flotter dahingeht, ist Life in London aber wirklich ein Glückstreffer. Die junge Stute ist sehr vielseitig und beweist sowohl auf dem Dressurviereck, als auch im Springparcours oder auf der Militarystrecke einiges an Talent. Sie ist mit viel Freude an der Sache und überzeugt durch taktreine Gangarten und einen absolut klaren Kopf. Was den richtigen Absprung angeht ist auf sie Verlass – so sehr die Stute hohe Geschwindigkeiten liebt, so vernünftig ist sie, wenn es um das Springen geht. Zwingt man sie in einen absolut unmöglichen Absprungswinkel wird sie daher auch einfach abwenden oder eben stehenbleiben. Life in London ist zwar nicht feige, aber sie besitzt ein gutes Gefühl dafür, welche Sprünge sie schaffen kann und welche nicht. Auf Turnieren muss man ein wenig darauf achten, dass sie nicht noch schneller wird als sonst schon. Die aufgeheizte Atmosphäre und die ungewohnte Umgebung lassen sie oft übermütig werden. Beschäftigt man sie schon beim Abreiten ausreichend, lassen sich unliebsame Überraschungen aber vermeiden. Alles in allem ist Life in London eine sehr leistungsstarke Ponystute mit tollen Veranlagungen.
