Collin hat sicherlich in seinem Leben nicht alles richtig gemacht aber inzwischen hat er die Kurve bekommen. Er war früher Kleinkriminell, war Drogenabhängig und Gewalttätig. Er bekam Sozialstunden auf der Ranch von Gordons Mutter und traf dort zum einen auf Menschen die ihm klar machten dass er mehr aus seinem Leben machen kann. Außerdem merkte er schnell dass er unheimlich gut mit Tieren und vor allem mit Pferden klar kommt. So lernte er auch Reiten und hat vor allem eine Leidenschaft für den Western- und Vielseitigkeitssport entwickelt. Aber er hat auch schon einige Distanzritte mit dem ein oder anderen Pferd bestritten und findet es nach wie vor neben dem Englisch- und Westernreiten spannend. Nachdem er seinen Schulabschluss nachgeholt hat machte er zunächst eine Ausbildung als Tierpfleger und später eine Weiterbildung zum Tiermedizinischen Fachangestellten. Da ihm das Wohl der Tiere immer mehr ans Herz wuchs machte er auch noch Weiterbildungen im Bereich Tierheilpraktiker, Pferdephysiotherapie- & Osteopathie.
