Der hübsche Friesenhengst King ist ein gleichmütiger Friese. Er ist sehr intelligent und aufrichtig zu gleich. King liebt es sich zu zeigen und zu präsentieren vor anderen Menschen und vor allem auch bei Stuten. Er weiß das er ein Hengst ist und dies lebt er auch sehr gerne aus. Wenn eine Stute in Sichtweite ist, setzt er sich so richtig in Szene und möchte durch sein Hengstverhalten trumpfen. Als Mensch muss in der Situation ein wenig durch greifen und ihm begreiflich machen das er das nicht darf. So lange man ihm eine feste Hand gibt und ihm genau zeigt wer der Chef ist, hat man keine große Mühen ihn von seinen Trieben wieder runter zu holen. Unter dem Sattel zeigt sich King sehr erfolgsorientiert. Er möchte immer eine Herausforderung haben und ihm darf es nie langweilig werden. Da er sehr intelligent ist, lernt er sehr schnell neue Lektionen oder anderweitigen Blödsinn. Seine Gänge sind schön weich zu sitzen und dennoch typisch für einen Friesen sehr raumgreifend. Allerdings hat er eine Schwäche, sein Galopp. Galoppieren ist nicht gerade seine Stärke und deshalb konnte er auch nicht weiter für S Turniere an den Start gehen. Leider, denn eigentlich wäre er super geeignet für diese Dressurklasse. King Devon ist alles in einem ein sehr lieber Hengst der gerne etwas erleben möchte. Egal was es ist, Hauptsache man verbringt Zeit mit ihm und lässt ihn arbeiten. Denn sonst kann es mal passieren das King seinen Kopf durchsetzen möchte und er dann ein wenig das übertreiben anfängt. Deshalb gilt bei ihm immer, immer schön ihn etwas machen lassen.
