Gepachtet von der Ponyzucht Kleemann

Jeder kennt das Sprichwort "Ein Wolf im Schafspelz" - doch bei Nabucco kann man durchaus sagen, eher das Schaf im Wolfspelz! Denn wo er mit seiner Abstammung und seinem Auftreten den sportlich, aktiven Wolf miemt, so ist er darunter ein absolut ruhiger und verschmuster Typ. Seine raumgreifenden Gänge sprechen für ihn und seine Turniererfolge, doch am liebsten würde er einfach den ganzen Tag draußen stehen, die Sonne genießen und sich stundenlang kraulen lassen. Zwar macht er mit seinen Artgenossen auch schon mal ein zwei freudige Bocksprünge, wenn sie zusammen auf die Weide kommen, doch in der Regel lässt er sie danach alleine weiter toben und schaut sich das Geschehen eher im gemütlichen Trab mit an. Das heißt nun nicht, dass er faul ist - unterm Sattel hat er ordentlich Feuer - aber er wirkt immer ganz verträumt und ruhig und man möchte gar nicht glauben, dass er sportlich erfolgreich sein kann.

Durch seine umgängliche Art ist er bei seinen Pflegern, den Turniervorstellern und den Richtern sehr beliebt. Wo andere Hengst aufgeplustert tänzeln und sich an Ketten legen lassen, da kann man Nabucco noch immer ruhig an der Hand führen. Natürlich hat auch er seine Hengstmanieren und mal seine lustigen fünf Minuten, doch alles in Allem ist er kein komplizierter Kerl. Ein Kumpel, mit dem man gerne zu Turnieren geht und den man ebenso gerne vorstellt. Auch beim Deckakt selber ist er unkompliziert. Rauf - rein - runter. Bisher sind noch keine Schwierigkeiten mit ihm bekannt und seine Nachkommen sprechen ebenfalls für ihn. Wo man aber drauf achten sollte ist, dass er genügend vorbereitet wird, denn er springt auch auf, wenn er gar nicht soweit ist, was für die Stute natürlich alles andere als angenehm ist. Obwohl Nabucco auch im Natursprung deckt, ist der Aufsprung auf einen Bock ebenfalls problemlos machbar. Im Grunde scheint es so, dass er einfach überall aufspringt, hauptsache er darf danach schnell wieder auf die Koppel.
