Comet Tail, famous and legendary for being the sire to more 30 direct offsprings and countless decendants these days, gave all his heart when creating this boy! Captain Comet is a valueable member of the NRC family and seeing him in the ring makes you understand that! Captain, as he is called at the barn, is eyecandy. But thats not all of course! He puts a lot of work in his performance; always being ready, always being on top of things and always able to give another last little bit of power when others are already done. Captain is surely well-known among trainers for his ability to foresee his riders next decision and action. Riders have reported him having a kind of presentiment when it comes to a courses difficulties. Some were even talking about Captain making his own decisions like when or where to take the turns that give you a second or more. They all though agreed on the fact that he is genius when it comes to jumping. His dressage abilities though are... ok only. No, hes not bad at it, he is just not enjoying that kind of work as much as he loves jumping. He does what he is asked for but you can see that its not his favourite thing to do. When it comes to his character, Captian is a so/so horse. He is lovely and friendly most of the time but he can also totally show another face. He will definitely test you when you first ride him. And maybe the second and third time you do... or maybe more often, it depends. Once you earned his trust and loyalty though he is a nice horse to ride!
